Bentophile

The rapid development of take-away services makes people’s lives more convenient, but leaves behind a lot of packaging waste. Plastic cans, plastic bags, plastic cutlery – this waste is having an increasingly strong impact on the environment.

Thanks to the worldwide attention to the issue of pollution, more and more designers are addressing the problem. In the wake of this design movement, our student Chengqing Cen developed a concept for the sustainable packaging brand “Bentophile” for the Chinese take-away market as part of her 6th semester bachelor thesis.

In addition to a sustainable choice of materials, the concept also includes a well thought-out system from ordering food via app to returning the dishes to vending machines.
