„Subkultur und Marke“ ROCKET VS. WINK

Jan Rosenstock’s Bachelor’s thesis involved the creation of the Rocket vs. Wink art project in collaboration with the design office Rocket & Wink. Entitled ‘subculture and brand’, it examined the extent to which subcultural influences help to make a brand more well known and to position it.

A story was developed in which the two owners of the agency appear as protagonists in an attention-grabbing scenario.

The two designers split up and enter into battles which, in light-hearted fashion, pit them against one another in creative terms. Supported by videos and an unconventional campaign design, the story spreads, attracting a lot of attention. A street art campaign builds further on this.

The high-point is the development of a first collection by the young creative brand encompassing streetwear, art prints, postcards and badges. The seventh edition of Whatever Design Magazine is also dedicated to Rocket vs. Wink. At a final release party, the collection is launched and the final battles take place.
