Alice in Wonderland
As part of her term project, Jennifer Leewis first took photos with a touch of the surreal. The photos were then used to create promotional posters for the theatrical piece “Alice in Wonderland“. The idea was to make the posters look realistic although their contents are clearly irreconcilable with reality. Hence Alice is shown as extremely tiny, free-falling or holding a grinning cat. Every poster is supposed to draw a parallel to the story while using as few elements as possible. With inventive photographic techniques and a subsequent elaborate post production, Jennifer Leewis was able to deliver oustanding results in her 1st semester in Communication Design.
