Buzzybees is a platform for hobby beekeepers that offers them professional and affordable support in marketing their high-quality bee products. The brand actively promotes insect protection and supports sustainable consumption and production patterns by connecting producers and consumers via e-commerce and matchmaking services. The core of the idea and the central source of revenue is the forgery-proof, personalisable and eco-friendly Buzzybees packaging.
Jennifer Leewis came up with the idea for her bachelor’s thesis in Brand Design because of the current issue of bee extinction. Many committed hobby beekeepers dedicate themselves to bees and their habitats in Germany in order to counteract the problem and produce sustainable honey. However, when it comes to marketing their products, many of them need support.
Even though her future profession will have nothing to do with beekeeping, Jennifer would like to continue to focus on bee extinction, honey production and her idea for Buzzybees.
