Welcome on Campus – Start of Winter Semester 2020/21

Never before has there been so much excitement at Brand University about the start of a semester as there was in October 2020, because on October 5th, after six months of empty corridors, the time had finally come again: the Rainville Terrace Campus opened its doors for teaching!

Thus, on the first day of the lecture period, not only the first seminars were held according to the rules of the new normality, but also the first semester welcoming event.

The course directors welcomed their freshmen and greeted them with a preview of the studies ahead of them as well as all the important information for a successful start.

The “Welcome Day” program of course also focused on getting to know new fellow students. What better way to make friends in Hamburg than over a joint Franzbrötchen breakfast with a view of the Elbe?

But this was not only a special day for the freshmen. Many second semester students also visited the BU campus for the first time yesterday and got to know each other personally.

We welcome all newcomers in Hamburg and at Brand University – we look forward to many wonderful moments in the winter semester 2020/21!
