‘Welcome to Hamburg!’ was the motto on 12 October for the first students of the new 2+2 programme of our cooperation with Zhejiang Wanli University in Ningbo. The group had been looking forward to this moment for a long time, as they began their studies in China two years ago and will now continue them in English in Hamburg for a further two years at Brand University.
The special thing about the cooperation as part of the 2+2 programme is that the students will hold two degrees in their hands at the end of their studies: the German Bachelor of Arts and the Chinese equivalent.
As not everyone was able to arrive at the same time due to the coronavirus pandemic, the first week took place as hybrid online and face-to-face teaching. But now everyone is on site and can start an exciting semester and unforgettable chapter of their studies together.
