The Brand Academy bids farewell to its first Bachelor graduates!
Hamburg, 20 September 2013 - The Hamburg Brand Academy, University of Design and Communication, held a ceremony to bid farewell to its first Bachelor graduates in the Brand Management and Brand Design courses. In his speech, Prof. Dr h. h. c. Shan Fan, President of the Brand Academy, emphasised the unique position of the Brand Academy as a brand university throughout Europe, the outstanding importance of brands and the excellent career opportunities this offers the new brand experts. It's done! Twelve ‘freshly graduated’ brand managers and brand designers joyfully threw their diploma hats into the air on the steps of the old seafaring school in Altona's Rainvilleterrasse on Friday. Since 2011, the innovative university has been based on the ‘Rainvilleterrasse Campus’, which Prof. Dr mult. Meinhard von Gerkan, gmp Architekten von Gerkan, Marg & Partner, and Prof Shan Fan, President of the Brand Academy. In his laudatory speech, Prof. von Gerkan emphasised the special position of the Brand Academy and the ‘Rainvilleterrasse Campus’ in the Hamburg university landscape.
Brand Academy as a model for success
‘Graduates of the Brand Academy have excellent career opportunities,’ says Brand Academy President Prof. Dr Shan Fan, ’the Brand Management and Brand Design degree programmes have become a model for success over the last three years and the university is an excellent example of successful cooperation between university and business. Due to the high demand, including international demand, we will also be offering the International Brand Management Master's programme from October 2014.’
