Als Grundlage diente die Information, dass MINI-Fahrer sehr viel Wert auf einen individuellen MINI legen. Dieses spielerische Verhalten sollten die Nutzer auch auf der Website erleben. Deshalb wurde ein Konfigurator geschaffen, der genau das leisten soll. Um der Website einen erlebnisorientierten Charakter zu geben und um neue technische Möglichkeiten aufzugreifen, wurden die Visualisierungen durch die Dimension des Raumes erweitert. Dies wird auch durch die Technik des horizontalen Scrollens verstärkt.
