On 15 April 2015, Michael Seifert was appointed Professor of Brand Communication at the Brand Academy's General Assembly.
Prof. Michael Seifert will head the Brand Design degree programme with a focus on digital design. He has many years of experience as a creative director in agencies, including Jung van Matt Next, and is a winner of the ADC in bronze, silver and gold, as well as the Cannes Lions.
Michael Seifert will be increasingly involved in the organisation of guest lectures by renowned speakers at the Brand Academy in addition to his role as course director.

Furthermore, new lecturers and practical projects such as Danone, Beiersdorf, Tesa, Engel & Voelkers and Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten were introduced at the plenary session.
The offices of Chairperson/BA Board and Examination Board were also determined for the student representatives, and a new member was elected.
