Recent IBM Master’s Graduate Speaks at Conference for Student Research

On 21st and 22nd of September 2017, the second Conference for Student Research took place at Humboldt-University in Berlin, Germany. The conference is not only bilingual and interdisciplinary, but – as the name suggests – also focused exclusively on research projects conceived and carried out by students, a format that is relatively new to Germany.

The 15-minute presentations were organized in 20 different groups based on their topics, i.e. “Law and Judgement”, “Environment and Tradition”, “Biology and Health” or “Communication and Media”. Fabienne Gadesmann, a recent graduate of Brand Academy’s International Brand Management Master’s programme presented the results from her Master’s thesis titled “The Influence of User-Generated Content on Brand Image (at the example of GoPro)”, followed by a Q&A session.

“I perceived it as a great opportunity to present my own research, get interesting insights about other student’s research projects and Bachelor/Master thesis results, but also to meet new students from different universities with lots of different scientific backgrounds”, says Gadesmann about her experience at the event.

We say congratulations and thank you for being such an excellent ambassador by demonstrating the high quality of the research conducted by Brand Academy students to an international audience!
