Opening of the Study Centre Hamburg of Zheijang Wanli University

On October 29th, 2019 we celebrated the opening of the new study center in Hamburg of our Chinese partner Zheijang Wanli University.

The new campus is located in the Park of Harmony at Mittelweg and will welcome Chinese exchange students with a tailor-made course program that complements their studies in China.

Seminars in the fields of business, management, law, design and architecture, among others, expand the program that has been taught at Brand University in summer schools in the past.

At the same time, the Study Center invites German students to familiarize themselves with Chinese culture.

Prof. Qian Guoying, Vice President of Zheijang Wanli University, and Wang Wie, Vice Consul General of the Chinese Consulate in Hamburg, emphasized the special importance of the educational cooperation between the two universities. This not only facilitates the exchange of expertise, but also opens up a multicultural perspective on the future.

Prof. Dr. h.c. Shan Fan also welcomed in his speech the deepening of the scientific and intercultural exchange between Germany and China: “With this cooperation we will broaden our international horizon and promote knowledge and mobility”.

We are looking forward to our common future in Hamburg.
