Brand Academy Success-Story: THE WOLF

Three founders of the brand THE WOLF from Hamburg:
Julian Fichtl, Lukas Fichtl and Lucas Porschen opened with the Palatinate ‚Weissbrand® ’ a totally new product category in the prestigious spirits industry.

The strategic and conpeptual background knowledge that they have got through their university studies at the Brand Academy helped them to develop, to position and
to occupy the product category ‚Weissbrand®’. The first stone was set in the early 1990s by one of the winemakers and burner from Palatinate region.
It all started with a dream to break the conventions and to create something outstanding and unique.
In the following years both visionaries passionatly developed the recipe and the burning process, which make THE WOLF a unique product in a new category of the spirits sector.

The Weissbrand®  up to now has been offered in the private vineyards in small quantities only.
Today the brand THE WOLF has the exclusive right to markt and to sell this creation.

THE WOLF is sold across Germany only in the renowned restaurants.
The first address in Germany in September 2014 where THE WOLF could be served was the highest restaurant in Hamburg, “Clouds”.
“Galeries Lafayette Berlin” was the first luxury store in Germany, which could sell it in the gourment section.
Now THE WOLF can be found on the menu card in bars and restaurants: Le Canard, Louis C. Jacob, Sansibar, Henricks and Trific.

The brand has also received very positive press, e.g. in design blog “Design Made in Germany”,German famous magazine about bar culture “Mixology”, in der GQ Hausbar and the Hamburger Abendblatt.
