BoschUniHackathon: Congratulations to our students!

Bosch SoftTec GmbH in collaboration with the Brand Academy and four other German universities organized the 1st BoschUniHackathon: „Connected Mobility”.

Nearly 100 students from 6 universities built 15 different teams and after 36 hours of intensive creative work they presented their projects in 3 min pitches to the jury. The jury was on the lookout for projects which displayed excellence, innovation, brand fit and marketability.

After all projects were successfully presented, the jury announced the winning team. The students of the Brand Academy and the Design Factory International won the 1st and the 3rd place. Additionally, the mixed team from the BA and the DFI  got the special jury prize for best pitch presentation.

Bosch SoftTec GmbH provided not only catering, place of retreat and entertainment for the participants, but also the comprehensive technical assistance by its employees as well as exclusive access to the developer package for mySPIN and a test drive with Audi, Porsche and Jaguar.

The Hackathon break-out sessions and presentation training were organized for all the participants. Among others the professor and course director of Brand Design – Digital Design at the Brand Academy Hamburg, Michael Seifert, hold a presentation to the topic: „User Interface Design“.
